My offering: Barnabas Collins by LevitatingBuddha My offering: Barnabas Collins by LevitatingBuddha
My offering of Barnabas Collins for the Dark Shadows Contest.

Spent roughly 20+ hours on this.

Lost my sight about 2 times, and had to take breaks.

Most of that time was spent doing inking, and painting.

There are 20 layers that make this image.

Most likely going to do another one of a different image.

This was created with GIMP 2.6, Paint Tool SAI, and INKSCAPE.

--- Make sure to download the image to see the Large version in pristine detail.

Thanks guys for all your support !! Congratulations to all the winners !! I've learned so much about my own style, and from others that this experience was worth it's weight in gold. Even though I didn't place. It's okay guys, I already have people ordering Oil canvas of some of my entries ! YAY !

Well it took a lil over 20 hours to draw. I got the invite for the contest about a week ago now. Upon receiving the invite I immediately started, and about 3 days after was finished. Since then I have done a couple more. If you're interested I can link you to them.

Well, i've yet to have my own collection of copics. In traditional medium I just use graphite, and watercolor pencils. My friend brings over his prismacolor, copics, and blick series markers usually every couple days. You color much better then me in the traditional medium.

They are a pain to buy..
Watercolour pencils are great, they have such rich colour don't you think?
Thankyou ^_^ You colour much better than me in the digital medium so that's pretty fair haha

Well, the whole pic took about 20 hours to complete. Probably in the last 3 or 4 hours it started to gain that "pop" effect.
